Originally from San Diego, California and an alum of Cal State Long Beach, Anna has been working in marketing & media since 2009, with 19 years in NYC, and now based in Chicago. Most recently, Anna was the Director of Marketing & Communications at American Documentary, producer of the series POV, POV Shorts, and America ReFramed. At the non-profit political news publication The American Prospect, Anna served as their first PR Director, accelerating their brand marketing, streamlining their public relations and development strategies. As the Associate Director of Creative Strategy on the business team at Quartz Media, Anna managed the RFP pitching workflow, and developed integrated marketing pitches to a wide variety of brands aiming to capture business professional audiences. Anna spent four years at VICE Media in various positions, navigating both the branded and editorial sides, where her passion for filmmaking and content marketing ignited. At VICE, some of her major projects included spearheading the digital launch of GARAGE Magazine with LVMH, the re-launch of Creators as a VICE vertical with Toyota Prius, and leading project management on The Creators Project, a collaboration with Intel.
